Distribution Amplifiers 2 way and 4 way
Initially designed to extend the number of 10MHz source outputs available for DFS and other GPS locking applications,
these amplifiers are finding other uses too. They both have useful gain per output channel up into the microwave region,
and the 4 way amplifier has the additional option of including GPS antenna power feed facilities, making it useful as a GPS RF distribution amplifier, for those with multiple GPS receiver systems
IC706 GPS lock DFS now available
Direct GPS locking option for all IC706 transceivers - Mk1, Mk2 and Mk2g. Provides 30MHz output signal from 10MHz GPS
(or OCXO) input. Make your rig absolutely stable for digital mode operation or transverting to microwaves frequencies!
Issue 2 DFS PCB now available
The revised PCB for the DFS is here. This PCB provides a little more
flexibility in terms of the divider configuration, and incorporates better support for screening of circuit stages
to reduce spurii levels - lessons learned from the 92.25MHz and 124.5MHz versions - thanks also to input from
Brian, GM8BJF.
Versions for 94.667MHz, 106.5MHz, 108.667MHz and 124.5MHz have so far been built on this PCB. Over the coming days version notes
on each of these will be added to the files.
